Beginning in 1st grade (2 – 3 times per week). Students in the first and second grade are introduced to music and reading notes, rhythm and singing. Students in the third and fourth grade begin playing flutophones so they gain experience fingering an instrument and reading notes. This elementary music program prepares them for going into band in the 5th grade.
